19 October 2018: Marie Curie Alumni Association "Bulgaria Chapter"
Prof. Roumiana P. Stateva from the Bulgarian Academy of Science will promote the IProPBio project during the Marie Curie Alumni Association "Bulgaria Chapter" meeting at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the University of Sofia.
D. Mantzavinos from the School of Engineering of Patras University, presented the work "Cleaning water from erythromycin by means of waste biomass" authored by S.Georgopoulos, D. Mantzavinos and M. Papadaki. The work was presented in the session of Wastewater treatment technologies.

26 April 2018: GNIP’s meeting at IST (Lisboa)
Henrique Matos from IST presented the project scope at the GNIP- Portuguese Process Integration National Team (created in 1995 ) that is the Portuguese member of the IETS implementing Agreement under IEA.
5 April 2018: Instituto Tecnologico Aguascalientes
Dr. Luigi di Bitonto from the CNR-IRSA presented “Sustainable processes for the conversion of lipids derived from Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs) into biodiesel” which is included in IProPBio project scope.
19 March 2018: Election of the Research Innovation and Exchange Committee (RIEC).
The RIEC is responsible for all the activities of the action: planning, organization, and supervision of all exchanges; reaching the milestones of the corresponding work packages; reporting progress of work packages and secondments to the members of the Consortium; proposing additional measurement and actions to be taken if the timetable deadlines could not be met, etc. The RIEC is presided by the Coordinator and includes the work packages leaders and the team leaders of the remaining member states partners entities (9 members in total). 19-20 March 2018: Project kick-off meeting.
The kick-off meeting was organized by the coordinator at the Southern Denmark University. The main objective of the meeting was creating a solid group motivated to realize the project objectives. During the meeting it was coordinated the work for the year 2018 and highlighted the complementarity between the partners. The agenda of the meeting is available here.
